Bacon Jalapeño Popper Cheese Balls are a delicious and savory snack that combines the flavors of crispy bacon, spicy jalapeños, and creamy cheese, all rolled into bite-sized balls.

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup jalapeños, diced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the cheese balls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra heat, use more jalapeños or add some hot sauce to the mixture.
