Burrito Skulls are a fun and creative twist on traditional burritos, perfect for Halloween or any festive occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning
  • 1 package of large flour tortillas
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Black olives for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Add cooked rice, black beans, cheese, salsa, and taco seasoning to the skillet. Mix well.
  4. Lay a tortilla flat and spoon the filling into the center.
  5. Fold the tortilla over the filling to form a skull shape, pinching the edges to seal.
  6. Brush the outside of the burrito with olive oil.
  7. Place the burritos on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Use black olives to create eyes and a mouth on the burritos.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy your spooky creation!
