A delightful and festive jam perfect for spreading on toast or giving as gifts during the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cloves
  • 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and orange juice.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens.
  4. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and walnuts (if using) and stir well.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before transferring to jars.
  6. Refrigerate the jam for at least 2 hours before serving.

  • This jam can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
