Ingredients

  • 34 lbs chuck roast
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the chopped onion, carrots, and potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Put the seasoned chuck roast on top of the vegetables.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, thyme, and rosemary.
  5. Pour the mixture over the roast and vegetables in the crockpot.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
  7. Once cooked, shred the roast and serve with the vegetables.
