  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  3. Pour the marinara sauce over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top of the chicken.
  6. Cover and continue cooking until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
