A cheesy and savory breakfast casserole that is totally addictive, perfect for brunch or a hearty breakfast.

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 4 cups cubed bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Add the cooked sausage, cubed bread, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese to the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
