  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 loaf of bread, cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the cooked sausage, bell peppers, onions, and cubed bread to the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
