Crispy Chilli Beef is a delicious and flavorful dish featuring tender strips of beef coated in a crispy batter and tossed in a spicy chili sauce.

  • 500g beef strips
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 34 dried red chilies
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the beef strips with soy sauce, egg, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat the beef strips in cornstarch until fully covered.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Fry the beef strips until golden and crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. In the same pan, add dried red chilies, garlic, and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
  6. Add the bell pepper and stir-fry for a few minutes.
  7. Return the crispy beef to the pan and toss everything together.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
