Deliciously crispy onion rings made without breadcrumbs, perfect for a keto diet and cooked in an air fryer.

  • 2 large onions, sliced into rings
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Dip each onion ring into the egg mixture, then coat with the almond flour mixture.
  5. Place the coated onion rings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Spray the onion rings lightly with cooking spray.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
