- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- Cooked rice, for serving
- In a bowl, mix the beef with cornstarch and half of the soy sauce. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining oil, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the broccoli and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet, add the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, and beef broth. Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to substitute chicken or tofu for the beef.
