A simple and delicious sausage and egg casserole perfect for a quick breakfast.

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups cubed bread
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Add the cooked sausage, cubed bread, and shredded cheese to the egg mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
