  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned.
  3. Stir in the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper, cooking for another minute.
  4. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. In a greased casserole dish, cut the biscuits into quarters and layer them on the bottom.
  6. Pour the sausage gravy over the biscuits.
  7. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and salt, then pour over the casserole.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
