  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1 bag (30 oz) frozen hash browns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the hash browns, cooked sausage, and shredded cheese.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the hash brown mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
