Delicious meatballs stuffed with gooey mozzarella cheese, perfect for a hearty meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Take a small amount of the meat mixture and flatten it in your hand.
  5. Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center and wrap the meat around it, forming a ball.
  6. Repeat until all the meat mixture is used.
  7. Place the meatballs in a baking dish and cover with marinara sauce.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning to the meat mixture.
  • These meatballs can be frozen before baking for later use.
  • Serve with spaghetti or on a sub roll for a meatball sandwich.
