Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds skirt steak
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, honey, garlic, black pepper, salt, and smoked paprika.
Place the skirt steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
Preheat the grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.
Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
Grill or cook the steak for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, add fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme to the marinade.
Make sure to slice the steak against the grain for maximum tenderness.
