Mediterranean Turkey Burgers are a delicious and healthy twist on traditional burgers, infused with Mediterranean flavors and ingredients.

  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup Kalamata olives, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • Fresh spinach or arugula for topping
  • Greek yogurt or tzatziki for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, feta cheese, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined, then form the mixture into 4 patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through.
  5. Toast the whole wheat buns on the grill for a minute.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing the patty on the bun and topping with spinach or arugula and a dollop of Greek yogurt or tzatziki.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
