Peanut Butter Spider Cookies are a fun and delicious treat perfect for Halloween or any occasion. These cookies are made with peanut butter and topped with chocolate and candy to resemble spiders.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 810 chocolate-covered candies (for spider bodies)
  • 1620 pretzel sticks (for spider legs)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, and egg until well blended.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  6. While the cookies are still warm, press a chocolate-covered candy in the center of each cookie.
  7. Insert pretzel sticks into the sides of the candy to create spider legs.
  8. Allow to cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • For a nut-free version, substitute peanut butter with sunflower seed butter.
