  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a food processor, blend the pistachio nuts until finely ground.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture and mix well.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  8. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the batter, then dollop the remaining batter on top.
