A delightful pastry filled with pumpkin spice cream cheese, perfect for fall.

  • 1 package of puff pastry (thawed)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, pumpkin puree, powdered sugar, and pumpkin spice until smooth.
  4. Place a spoonful of the pumpkin mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and seal.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with chopped pecans if desired.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.
