  • 2 pounds Swiss steak
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Brown the Swiss steak on both sides, then transfer to a slow cooker.
  3. Add sliced onion and minced garlic on top of the steak.
  4. In a bowl, mix beef broth, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Pour the mixture over the steak and onions in the slow cooker.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the meat is tender.
  7. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
