Delicious and spooky vampire bite cupcakes perfect for Halloween celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 can (16 oz) vanilla frosting
  • red gel food coloring
  • chocolate syrup
  • mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  5. Once cooled, use a small knife to cut a small circle in the center of each cupcake to create a ‘bite’ effect.
  6. Fill the hole with red gel food coloring to resemble blood.
  7. Frost the cupcakes with vanilla frosting and drizzle chocolate syrup on top.
  8. Garnish with mini chocolate chips to resemble vampire teeth.
