  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup of shredded coconut (optional)
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  3. Fold in the chopped strawberries gently.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter.
  7. Using a knife, swirl the cream cheese mixture into the batter to create a marbled effect.
  8. If desired, sprinkle shredded coconut and chopped nuts on top.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
