Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs flank steak
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, red wine vinegar, honey, garlic, black pepper, onion powder, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it.
  3. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  6. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
  7. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
