  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 head of butter lettuce or iceberg lettuce, leaves separated
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, fish sauce, and brown sugar, mixing well.
  4. Add diced bell pepper and shredded carrot, cooking until vegetables are tender.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in green onions.
  6. To serve, spoon the beef mixture into lettuce leaves and garnish with cilantro.
