Yaki Udon is a delicious Japanese stir-fried noodle dish that features thick udon noodles, a variety of vegetables, and a savory sauce.

Ingredients

  • 200g udon noodles
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 100g broccoli florets
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the carrot, bell pepper, and broccoli, and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender.
  4. Add the cooked udon noodles to the pan.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, and toss everything together until well combined.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
